Finished bathroom remodel

We call it finished although we still need to seal the marble and grout in the shower and we need a doorknob.  We love it!

More bathroom remodel

Here are a few more pictures of the bathroom remodel. I did add more to the last posting and I'll put these pictures with the others after a bit. It is just easier to see the updates this way.

This weave pattern is black and white.  The tiles are marble.  The picture does not show the white very well.  Stan has not put in the grout yet.

The floor in the bathroom is granite.  The tiles are wet here so they look a little darker than they really are.

Bathroom Remodel

After remodeling the kitchen in 2008 we decided to remodel the first floor bathroom.  We purchased the new tile, vanity, paint, etc. in 2009.  We didn't write down what our plan was because we thought we would start it right away.  That was not the case (seeing that it is now 2011) and when we looked at the paint we had chosen we were unsure of the original plan.  Oh well, we just have to come up with a new one.

The Mauve (everyone calls it pink) Bathroom

 All the sheetrock had to come out because of new wiring and new plumbing.

Any confessions, Cassandra or Emily?

 Cassandra stained the new bathroom door.  It is nice

having Cassandra here to help with the project.

The cement was mixed in the shop and hauled up to the house one (or sometimes two) buckets at a time.

Stan is putting in the tile for the walk-in shower.

The tile cutting operation was set up in the basement.  It looks like safety glasses have become more stylish over the years.
